Built by people who’ve felt the Monday scramble.
Addeum exists because church teams were duct-taping five logins together and still losing the guest from Sunday night’s prayer request.
Who we are
Addeum is an early-stage team building a Church Intelligence OS — people, Sunday ops, giving, and Scripture in one place, with AI that stays under your staff’s authority. We’re a startup, so we lead with the product and the convictions below — not a wall of logos.
Why we built Addeum
Planning Center, Pushpay, Faithlife, and a dozen point tools each solve a slice. We built a Church Intelligence OS so people, Sunday ops, giving, and Scripture share one spine — with AI that stays under pastoral authority.
Convictions
- AI assists ministry; it never replaces pastoral judgment or safeguarding.
- Member stories are sacred — redacted before they leave your tenancy boundary.
- Scripture answers must cite sources; invented verses don’t ship.
- Price should be a number a board can budget — not a maze of seats and add-ons.
- Child safety gates belong in software as hard checks, not optional PDF policies.
Founding moment
The founding spark was a familiar hallway: a first-time guest prayed with someone after the service, then vanished into a spreadsheet export by Tuesday. We decided the stack was the problem — not the volunteers.
